- Yes. Ribbon is one universal app that runs natively on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
- Does Ribbon need a trackpad?
- A trackpad for the three- and four-finger gestures is needed for the swipes. Without one, clicking a window, the Dock or Cmd-Tab still moves the strip to that window.
- Which permissions does Ribbon ask for?
- Accessibility, to move and resize windows. Screen Recording is optional and adds live window pictures to the switcher; without it the switcher shows app icons.
- Which languages is Ribbon available in?
- Ribbon's interface is available in English, Vietnamese and 14 more languages.
- Which editions of Ribbon are there?
- There is one edition, sold as a Standard license. Every copy starts as a 14-day free trial with every feature.
- How long is the free trial?
- The free trial lasts 14 days. It includes every feature, needs no account and starts on first launch.
- What happens when the trial ends?
- When the 14-day trial ends, Ribbon stops arranging windows and puts every window back on screen. Your layout is kept: enter a license key and Ribbon restores it.
- How many Macs can I use one license on?
- One license works on 2 Macs at the same time. To move a license to another Mac, deactivate it in Ribbon on one of the two Macs; the seat is freed at once.
- Does Ribbon need an internet connection?
- Ribbon checks the license online about once a week and keeps working offline for up to 30 days.
- How much does Ribbon cost?
- The price has not been announced yet. It will be published here at launch.

- The trial download is not public yet. It will be linked from ribbon.chabulab.com at launch.
